Providing medical education to a number of senior registrars, this course will focus on the theoretical and practical, and be provided by a distinguished faculty. Over two days registrars will learn more about standard and minimally-invasive neurosurgical approaches.
The agenda for the two days is as follows:
Day 1 – Approaches to Aneurysms
- Pterional Approach (with Silvian fissure split)
- Eyebrow Incision Subfrontal Approach
- Interhemispheric Approach
- Middle Fossa Approach
Day 2 – Approaches to Aneurysms Continued
+ Endoscopic Approaches:
- Suboccipital Retromastoid Approach
- Far Lateral Approach
- Transnasal Endoscopic Approach to Anterior Fossa
- CP Angle Endoscopy for Microvascular Decompression
